Inspiration comes knocking

What i've been up to today:



:D *beams* Pretty happy with how it turned out. And the inspiration came from my mickey mug which i drank milk out of right before doing this.

Actually i wanted to do something colourful, something with crayons. Cos seeing pretty colours makes me happy. But... I couldn't find a suitable picture so, its sad.

Still, i'm happy with the mickey one :D

Andd it took super longgggggggggg.. Just to look for the right vintage mickey image!

I think i'm going to code it out on monday and upload it onto blogskins.com

& I'm supposed to take a shower now and meet mumsie later on. Zeebo had piano lessons so she'll join us there.

That above, is what i've been up to for almost an entire day today. Trial and error is alot of hard work! And troublesome.

Nevertheless, i'm still satisfied! :)

Its still pouring

OHHHHHHHH MYYYY GOOODNESS ME.

Last night i stayed up. No, not partying or even watching teevee. Its watching two girls revise for their A maths common test the next day, today.

Until 2 plus i think, and i decided that i got really bored and tired and sleepy (unlike them hardcore maths revising enthusiasts) i went to sleep and waking up all groggy-eyed + dazed. HAH!

I've about < 2 months left of holidays to enjoy. In fact, i don't even remember when i started holidaying. Hahahhahhaha. Can't wait to start school actually. Mhmm, bring on the challenges and stress! And soon, i'll be complaining about how school's making me so busy and stressed and tired and and... Y'knw what i'm talking about.

But well, i figured i'm going to do what i really enjoy. Soooo.. I think i can manage. I know i'll be fine!

Oh! Mum's back from Jakarta too. YAY FOR A THOUSAND TRILLION TIMES! I'll be following her around alot i guess. And yes that is a good thing.

HMMMMMM, next week, i'm going to want to meet up with people i missssssss sooo much.

I've actually got tons of layouts to complete. And i'm starting with band's.

&&& on a random note. I need therapy. Retail therapy!!!!!!! :P

HAHHAH ISN'T THAT ALOTTTT?!??!

Well i think the ones i liked best are Slumdog Millionare and Benjamin Button. Both are good films, i really like the storyline of both. Its a different kind of story which doesn't mirror the world we're in now i guess?

By the way, did you catch the Oscars yesterday?

I so so so so adore the Swarovski crystal curtain. ITS SO PRETTY!!!!!! And everything and everyone is all so glammed up. AHHHHH *daydreams* How i wish i could.......

And i realised, most of the awards were only centered around a couple of movies, namely Slumdog, Benjamin Button, Milk, and The Reader. Which makes me wonder.. Are those the only movies that were really THAT good? Why aren't there more of them?

Still, i think they deserved it. Especially Benjamin Button for visual effects. Oh, Brad Pitt just gets more decent looking as the movie goes along. With that visual effects thing, its now possible to see how he looks like with sagged skin and being really old. And no, he doesn't look good anymore. Everyone falls prey to old age eventually.

I spent a total 5 hours in front of the teevee yesterday morning to watch the Oscars and Amazing race. Hah.

And i'm still having cramps! D:

Now off i go to concentrate on the movie instead of the pain.

I had one of the worst experiences (yet again)

I also felt very blessed by the people around me.

Something happened.

& it was "that time of the month" again.

Urghhhhhhhh irritating!

This is like, the 3rd time. And it ranks on par with what happened on my cruise in Bali (If ya'll have read you'd know what)

With my hands and legs being numb, unable to get up, and all i hear are voices.

But not to worry, i'm alright now. The pain has gone down from a scale of 8/10 to 1/10. So it isn't that bad anymore.

Still, i'd like to thank w446, especially Jon! For showering so much care and concern. Truly, i feel so so so happy deep down inside.

& i know the way to "repay". That'll be to do the same. And maybe who knows? One day, i might be a CGL. And one day, its my turn to do the same that he did to me to another :)

Contented

Last sunday, everyone went separate ways after church. Irene with the church peeps, edi&jes with band peeps.. And leaving me with pops.

So i thought... Hmmm... Since its only pops and i, why don't we go for food-that-i-really-crave-for-but-can't-eat-cos-its-so-expensive (especially when there's 7 of us in total)

And then, its off to Kushin-Bo i went with pops. HEHHHEHEHHHE!
(In case you don't know, its a jap buffet)

Edi asked what i'm having for lunch. When i told her, her reply was "Wah biang eh!" HAHAHAHHAHHA! :P

This time round i didn't snap any pictures. I just ate & ate. My favourite part was when the tempura just came out steaming hot and i quickly got to it. MWAHHHAHAHA. Cos it always gets snapped up very fast the previous time i went. Lol!

& I figured, what's talking about food without pictures? AHHAHHA! So, here's to refresh. Show you what i ate. Even though its taken like last year, but still.. Its relavant :P

This, up here, is my favfavfav! No matter how much i've eaten, i'll always leave space for desserts. Desserts should always be eaten! HAHHAA.

Well, and then on sat, yes, the V day i spent at home, pops decided to take us all out for dinner. Went to Causeway. And saw sooo many people forming long queues outside restaurants. Then we had to settle for Crystal Jade (because that's the only one without a queue) & mmm, it was good :)

No, i'm not working already. Just slacking at home. Wondering when would be a good time to crash into Pj again. And when i could actually start school and start getting busy.

I miss hanisah! I miss yummers! I miss all of 08S11! :'(

Actually right now, i'm kinda "studying" when i help edi and jes with their homework. Its like getting a refresher on O levels stuff. The fun part comes when i see them rack their brains and i don't. MWAHAHAHHA. But sometimes, i do get it wrong too. Especially physics! Grrr physics.

The only two subjects i'm familiar with is chem & maths. Which, i'm more than glad to help them out with. HAHAAH.

Alrighty then, shall update another time. When i've found something i can share.

Thirteen on a friday

Ohh look! Its friday the 13th. I'm not being superstitious okay! I believe that it is my lucky day! Wait, no, in fact, everyday's my lucky day!

What's friday the 13th without a black cat? ;)

Well now me, being bored and pretty awake (even though i got up at 5am) decided to go google 'friday the 13th'.

(Yes, i've just had lunch and i've got nothing better to do)

But i hope i'll get some interesting stuff outta wiki.

Friday the 13th is a superstition about a day of good or bad luck.
SEE! It can be good luck too!!

And the fear of this day is actually called paraskavedekatriaphobia.

With such a name, it gives you another reason to be afraid doesn't
it?

& oh, something interesting here.

It said, the superstition was also thought to be derived from the Last
Supper.

13 is significant to christians because it is the number of people who were
present at the Last Supper (Jesus and his 12 apostles) & Judas, the apostle
who betrayed Jesus, was the 13th member of the party to arrive.

And that having 13 people seated at the table will result in the death of
one of the diners.

Hmmm, would you believe that? But hey! That was pretty interesting wasn't it. Didn't know that it has connections with christian theology. Actually there was more. But this was among them. You can go look it up too :)

Oh yes, later on, i'm planning to go swimming! Want to get some orangey tan. HAHHAHHAHHA.

On a lighter note, its Vday tomorrow! I've got plans.... Plans to stay at home. Hah!
