I'm back in Singaporee!

Well Jakarta/Indonesia was a super duper fun holiday.

Remember the time when i thought i almost had dinner at home? Well nah! In the end we went out to eat dumplings. LOL. And therefore i never had dinner at home in that 2 weeks and 3 days there. NOT ONCE! Like OMG.

Hmm, you must be expecting pictures huh?

I'm kinda lazy to upload them today. I'm still pretty exhausted since i've got back on Saturday. I've been very very busy lately. And that's great i think! It beats being stuck at home o_o

Let me see, after i landed i went back home. And the home felt pretty small compared to Jakarta :P Wasn't very used to it, especially the hot hot weather :(

Then at night i went to a funeral. Pretty sad lah.

And yesterday, i went to church, then to my grandma's house, then to East Coast with friends.

See see! Very busy right? :D

Now i'm going to get outta this house, going to do something ;D

Oh and before that, Happy new year to all.

I've already had my new year resolutions written in my head.

Alright, i'll promise to put pictures up by next week. Hehe!

It made my day

Yesterday was Christmas and honestly, i had no fun at all. BLEAH! Shall tell you more about that when i get back to Singapore in 3 days time.

We're going to the theme park tomorrow. WOOHOOO~ I'm excited for that.

Although today was boring, i had an interesting conversation with Aaron Periera today.

And i found that we actually had lots in common. Like wow! First time i've met a person with the exact same interests as me, and same perspective of things too.

So yeah, was pretty happy about that because i thought i was like the only one with my unique interests that doesn't seem interesting with my peers.

I actually met him at the airport on the day i was about the fly off to Jakarta, but didn't know it was him. I looked at him, i remembered. Then it was like we kept staring at one another. He looked awfully familiar though.

Haha! Then he started the conversation telling me he saw me at the airport. Then i replied, oh! So it was you!

And we just chatted about random stuffs. Just ended the conversation not long ago.

By the way, don't get any wrong ideas, he is just my primary school classmate. Nothing more than that.

And that we're friends of course.

I didn't talk to him much during primary school days.

And he wanted to get into Ngee Ann Poly's Mass Communications too.

Maybe we could be classmates again after so many years. Then i would be able to see a familiar face when i step into the classroom. (That is if i get in!)

That would be nice :)

Still exhausted

You know, i'm still very tired today. Despite waking up at 9am which is like, pretty late.

This morning i went shopping with my aunt. Bought quite a number of clothes and jeans. Hehe. And the price wasn't that expensive either. Lots of shops were having sales of 70% and the clothes were really nice too.

Its a shopping heaven :)

And yeah, its Christmas Eve and i'm at home right now.

I'm finally having dinner at home. I've been eating out so much that i don't feel like eating out anymore. Its like i feel like puking when i see food X_X

Yah, its that bad!

Oh well. I'm happy to be at home right now. Its just that the person i want to talk to the most is not online right now :(

So its poor me, i'm just waiting as long as i can. But i wonder what that person is doing right now :/

Haha. I sound like i'm talking about some enemy or something.

Nah, its not. Its my secret person ;D

I miss Cessy too<3 Btw, Cessy's my dog.

All these crazy business

I've watched National Treasure yesterday night. And yeah, its pretty good. Its not bad :) The tickets were selling like hotcakes. We had to settle for the 9pm show. Which translates to 10pm in Singapore time. And it ended so late X_X

But i couldn't fall asleep last night too, only until 3am that is. Weird!

And OMG!

The past few days have been like so tiring. And yeah, i've just reached home since i've went out in the morning.

Super super tiring.

I have like 1,1542,262,12 pictures to upload. But i'll do it when i'm back in Singapore instead. Its much faster anyway. Meanwhile, i'm afraid you'll just have to bear with the words :)

Today, Jes and i tried this Bungee trampoline thing at the mall. The verdict of that? Its scary. Yup, although we were just catapulted three storeys up, i was like OMGGGG! What mess have i just gotten into? And after three and a half minutes of being catapulted up and down, my legs were shaking

Its quite an interesting experience. And i didn't believe i had the guts to do that.

I'm afraid of heights!

After that we went shopping for clothes and ate Sushi for dinner. The place was crowded but i didn't like the sushi at all. Its like, the salmon isn't fresh :(

But i've come to realise something.

Since i've stepped into Indonesia, i've never eaten dinner at home. And i've only eaten lunch twice at home. That is, crazy of course. I don't get to do that in Singapore, it'll just put plenty of holes in the pockets of all the pants i've ever owned.

What i'm trying to say is, Jes and i have been eating food here like there's no tomorrow.

Here's a list of the restaurants we've been to/eaten at:

Bakmi GM (Its the chicken noodles shop), Sandwich Bakar (Toasted sandwiches for dinner), a seafood restaurant, Din Tai Fung, Hoka Hoka Bento (Japanese bento set lunches/dinner), Pizza Hut, a Sushi restaurant, Macdonalds, A&W (American fast food), J Co (OMG! Their donuts are awesome!), an italian restaurant, and many more Indonesian restaurants.

All of that in just under two weeks.

At that rate, i definitely know i have put on weight. And if i add on the fact that every time after we eat we just sit in the car and travel around, imagine how much weight that would add to. You do the math :)

Well, i'm really tired right now. Maybe i shall go to sleep earlier :/

Spazzism

"Spazzism" is now Jes' and my word to describe everything nowadays O_O

Tomorrow i'm going to Bandung until Saturday. It'll be a long road trip.

I'm lazy to upload the pictures. It takes soo long! Its very annoying.

We've been like eating out for almost everyday. Yeah, its all good food. Which is bad and good.

The good is, i get to enjoy and my tastebuds satisfied. Bad thing is, i think i'm putting on weight. But i hope not though. I HOPE NOT!

At this rate of crazy eating, i think i'll come back to Singapore without people knowing who i am.

O_O Sounds too exaggerating. Hahhah! :X

Jes also got a new phone. She got the black W910i. Its pretty cool :)

I've watched Asian Idol too. Not live though, unfortunately. LOL, but i can't believe that Singapore's Hady Mirza won. He actually won! It was like wth! Unexpected eh? Seriously, there were other contestants that had wayy better performances in my opinion.

So there you have it.

the night life

Yesterday we went out again! And it was at night. Hehes. In the end we didn't go my uncle's house but for a movie instead.

Went to the Grand Indonesia. Its a mall and its unbelievably big. 11 storeys of shops! With the cinema on the 8th floor. And that made me feel "home" cos' the shops were similar to that of Singapore's.

This is the movie we watched, I am Legend.

And i tell you! The cinemas here are darn good. None of the cinemas in Singapore could compare to this. The sound system was super good. Its like when there is that kind of sudden loud noises meant to scare you, it really had the effect on me. Plus it had so many lounges you can wait in while waiting for the movie, you can also play X-Box while waiting too. Isn't that cool? ;)

Its like OMG! There were quite alot of times where i practically jumped out of my seat due to those sudden noises. Then Jes and i covered our eyes with our hands for alot of parts. And we squeezed each other's hands when it gets scary. Hahah!

I wouldn't tell you what is in the movie. It would be such a spoiler wouldn't it? I think its not out yet in Singapore. But the content was unexpected for me.

If you like thrillers then you should watch this :)

Also if you look at the pictures below, the cinema seats a lot of people. I mean, the place is so HUGE. It can be compared to Singapore's Victoria Concert Hall. No exaggerating here, its for real. There is a second storey. Like those in Concert Halls. OMG right? I was like, woah. If only Singapore also like that, then it would be cool.

Plus, they don't have film ratings here. Unless there's nudity. Thats of course. So kids like Jes' 9 year old brother, James, can watch NC16 (Singapore rated) movies too. In Jakarta lah!

Sad thing is, The Golden Compass is not out yet here. So we'll have to wait a while more, and we'll go watch again.

After that we head home and started the Night Saloon! Yeah, the whole lot of us got haircuts at night. By my uncle. He's a hairstylist ;D

Then mummy and i highlighted our hair too. My uncle chose the colour for me, its copper gold. And i think its a little too bright. I look abit like "pai kia" LOL! But i think its not bad lah :) Its for free anyway. HAHAHH!

Jes and I both slept at 1.30am. And that would be 2.30am Singapore time. Late huh? HAHAH!

Now my hair still smells like the dye =.="

And the internet connection here isn't that great either. But at least its available okay! Haahha!

Inside the airplane, before take off.

And when in the car just now, on the way to eat lunch, i took out my phone and started snapping pictures. And look! This one's beautiful. The weather's sunny too :)

And this is my lunch today, and actually, yesterday's too :P I'm not bored of eating it twice. Hehes. Its super yummy!

This is the food to die for! Its a bowl of Mushroom Chicken noodles. Its like sooo delicious. Yeah, it looks simple. But you can't find this anywhere in Singapore! HEHHEHH! So too bad :P

Hahas. Now i'm just at home, with nothing to do because we don't have a car to take us out. For your information, the streets of Jakarta is not like Singapore's. Its not that safe and convenient. Therefore its better if there's a car to take you around.

Apparently, the car is being used now to fetch my grandmama to her friend's place. And no, my grandmama doesn't drive. We have a driver to take us around :X When she's back Jes and i will be going to my uncle's house. There's this really really big dog that sleeps in an air-conditioned cage. 24/7! Like OMG! Hahas. i'll snap pictures to show you how big it is. Then maybe you'll understand its huge-ness :P

Those orange vehicles are called "Bajaj" (pronounced as Baajai) And its kinda like those tuk-tuk vehicles in Thailand.

And its one of the mode of transportations here. There's buses too. But you'll never want to get on it. Cos' its dangerous. There isn't assigned stops, you can get off whenever you want, and the bus just goes around the city. Hence, you may never reach your destination in the shortest period of time.

The Bajaj makes alot of noise. Its like 4am, and you can hear it outside, thus waking me up.

This is money $$$ Hahas. Yeah, i got that as pocket money from my uncle. Jes has it too. But my grandmama gave me two more of those so now i have 4 of 50,000 rupiah. HAHAH! Yah, its RUPIAH! I think 5000 Rupiah = S$1

That means i have S$40 to spend. Hehe! But unfortunately i can't go out now. Darn! LOL. But not to worry i still have 15 more days to go. Which is like super long, its half a month! :)

By the way, something wierd happened last night.

See that?! Its unplugged but it can still light up. When i plug it into the socket it turns off instead of turning on.

ZZZZZ.

I was like, WTHHH!

Okay, its getting a little too boring now. I shall go watch some DVDs as my entertainment until the car comes back.

In jakarta

I've reached safely already. Hahas.

The time here is 4.41pm. So its exactly one hour slower. And i have to get used to it.

I'm speaking alot of english, its quite hard to adjust to bahasa (Indonesia's main language)

I'm going to need some time to adjust.

It took 1 hour to get here from Singapore. Hahas. On the flight, it had lots of turbulence x_x which made me a little dizzy.

Upon touching down, we went to eat at the mall :D

Then now we are at home. By we i mean Jes and i. Hehes.

Later for dinner also going out to eat or watch movie! WOOHOO~

To edeline: I suggest you don't come and read my blog for the time being. Its going to make your face green! HAHAHH!

The lazy bug

Actually i could update yesterday. But i was too lazy :P

HEHHEH! Jieson still wished me happy belated birthday yesterday morning.

"Better late than never" was what he said. And yeah, i agreed.

Well. Since there was completely nothing to do, no one to talk to online, i went back to playing Maplestory. AHAHAH! Yeah. Started a new character.

And now i intend to put up a to-do-list on what i want to do when i go back to Jakarta.

There's alot of it. I shall be there for 17 days. And i won't be online everyday like i am doing in Singapore. Thank goodness. Here's some of what i want to do.

Stupid weather

4 words: I HATE RAINY DAYS!!

The only time i love rainy days is when i want it to happen. Or else, it just spoils everything. Especially when you are planning to go out and play.

Don't feel like elaborating already. I shall go do something else more fun.

Thoughts of randomness

Hey! I was looking through some old files, since i've got totally nothing to blog about and then this idea came. I remembered that i've never put these pictures up. I thought you might want to see them too! HAHHA!

If you've been reading my blog from ages ago, by ages i meant like last year. You would have remembered (well, somehow) that i've told you guys before that we (sec 4 band members) have completed a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle in less than 3 days!

And oh, its not the simple kind, in case you don't know. Its crazy difficult! But nevertheless, we've managed to complete it.

This puzzle was for Mr Hector Tan. He was leaving the band, and we had to give him a farewell present isn't it? And it was kind of last minute..

TA DAAAAAAAAA! The completed work! -beams-

And it was completed at 3am, with Anyu and Xin Ying staying overnight at my house. Originally, there were alot more others. But they left at 1am++ HHAH! And they all only came at 10pm.

Very late hor?

HAHHAH!

Later on, i'll be bringing Irene to Escape Theme Park. Yeah, i know its a boring place.. But i have free tickets, plus Irene's never been there before so i figured that bringing her there wouldn't be such a bad idea and at least we would not need to ROT at home! HAHHA! Correct?

Actually i wanted to go to Wild Wild Wet, but the both of us had that *ahem ahem* well, something lah. So couldn't go swimming :(

I just hope that it won't rain. That would be disastrous.

Okay. I'm blogging once again :D

Actually, i wanted to put up pictures of my mini birthday celebration at home. But the pictures are all in the camera which Edeline brought to KL! I haven't uploaded it to the computer.. So i guess i'll update on those another time.

Speaking of Edeline, she's off to KL!! With the band. Jessica too. AHHAHA. This morning i got awakened by them both preparing and all that. That means there are two lesser people in the house. And lesser people to fight to use the computer for four days. -MWAHHAHAH-

They'll only be back on friday, and Edi said she'll buy for me print tees. YAY! <3

Even though i don't have pictures of my birthday celebration thing. I do have one actually. And its a slice of the cake that i had for breakfast this morning. HEHHE! Its the Cocoa Exotic cake from Four leaves! Irene had this cake for her birthday in 2005. I loved it soo much. Couldn't get it for 2006 so this year i had to get it. HEHEHHEH! The reason i want it its because its chocolate. LAYERS of different flavoured-chocolate, as you can see from the picture below. Very very yummy, and sinful ;D

Presenting to you..

My lunch today. Its an Indonesian dish.

Its called the Gado-gado (Pronounced as gaa-dough gaa-dough)

As you can see, it comprises of vegetables. And the other essential ingredient especially for my taste-buds would be the peanut chilli! Without it, its like you're eating raw vegetables and nothing else O_O Its much like a salad really.

I know what you might be thinking.

"Wahh.. That's your lunch?! So little.. Can full meh?"

And i'll go: "I had two servings of this. So yeah, i'm very full right now. Thankyouverymuch."

And no, i'm not on a diet! :)

This is when i splatter the chilli over the dish. I know, its not artistic.

And now for something much more expensive, mouth-watering and with more sauces and flavourings included. We ate at Tony Roma's @ Suntec.

Oh, when i go back to Jakarta, which is in 9 days time, i shall be introducing much more dishes. Well, Indonesian-style dishes of course. Just for you to see and let your saliva drip without you even knowing it. And i shall be eating it! -MUHAHHAHHAH-

You'll be surprised that something so simple can be delicious. How i wish there could be more vocabulary to describe food. Now i'm sounding like a food blogger O_O HAHHAH!

And now i'm feeling pretty bored. Maybe i shall be childish for awhile by playing some Neopets.

AHAHAHHHA! I remember last time i was soo hooked onto it. But hey! It was there were i learn the photoshop and coding skills ;D
