Movie Review

{Movie Review}

Movie: Open Season
My rating: 3.5 out of 5

I thought that the movie would be okayy, its like so cartoon and classic. What i mean by classic? I mean i am able to tell what happens next in the story. From the very beginning i tell you. The animation's great and along the way there was a few hilarious jokes. So in the end i didn't fall asleep. And just when i expected something more, the movie ended too quickly.

So this movie's about a bear (Boog) that was rescued by this ranger called Beth when she was young. And then Boog grows up as she did, and along the way something happened (I don't want to spoil the movie for you x3) So she decided to let him go. But then he was having quite a hard time adjusting to life in the wilderness when all this while he was living with Beth.

And somehow he gets along with the other animals and want to stop the people from hunting them down. They have this thing called the "Open Season" aka hunting season when hunters can hunt as much as they want in a few days. So they tried to create a mess, driving the hunters back.

Now for the classic part. Beth realises that she couldn't let Boog go as she was afraid he would get hurt. So she goes into the woods to look for him to bring him back to her house. Then Boog would have to make a decision whether to stay in the woods with his newfound animal friends or go back with Beth.

Very very classic. I think i have watched too much of television dramas. So much that when i watch those channel 8 dramas at 9pm (those love stories), i can guess who goes with who in the end. Lucky guess you might say, but i think not.

The sneak-preview tickets were actually given to us by my uncle, and we watched it at The grand cathay. I loved the cinema, the seats were comfortable and the place was grand. With the red all over the place.

I like the skyline. New inspiration for another layout :)

Open Season

Inside the cinema. (I know, my hair's short if you didn't notice -_-)

Oh yah my dad's taking us out to watch this movie called "Open Season". I wonder whether its nice, haven't heard of it before. So i shall go take a nice hot bath now. heh.

Reflections

{Reflections}

I know now. I've been making so many wrong decisions, one after another. I'm like trapped in this vicious cycle. I don't know who i should turn to, or even know whether i should turn to someone for help. The feeling i have right now is that when i want to turn to someone for help its hard, because i'm not used to doing that.

I am this person that'll keep everything to myself. Like i said on the previous post, i will do some back stabbing if i misunderstand any situation. I mean it. This might look like an attitude problem or whatever. However you see my situation as, i don't care.

Please try to understand that i'm also going through many situations back home. You guys may think you know what it is about but its not. The reason being i have not mentioned it at all. I don't plan to mention it at all.

Sorry to those online that wanted to talk to me. I need some time alone. Now that i've thought about it. Honestly, i don't know what's wrong with me. Listening to that song above made me cry. BUT I STILL DON'T GET IT.

I don't like people worrying about me. I will solve my own problems by myself.

Take the lead

{Camp: Take the lead}

Okayy i was back from camp yesterday. Had an EXCOs meeting after that. I am currently having a fever right now. I was bored, so i got on the computer. Shall go to the doctor later, if my temperature rises.

My comment on the camp: speechless.

Its not that i'm in a bad mood or something. The fever is adding on to everything. I really feel like washing my hands off everything. Literally everything!

I know i'm like talking in riddles, but its the only way i can convey my message and leave everyone reading this post with a huge question mark hanging in their heads. So yes, i won't regret it. If i do, i shall do it in person. So now i won't complain anymore. I'll just watch and follow the crowd, not having my own stand. I know this sucks. I'll let everyone have their own way, i might do some back stabbing if i misunderstand. Its my way of doing things, accept it. By the way, if you aren't happy about this post. Well then say back right into my face. Get it? I'm doing that too. Just saying all my comments to most people i'm not happy with, whether its good or not.

Now you see my true colours. This is the real me after all.

Well anyway the second part shall not be too riddle-ous. I will post some pictures taken from the camp.

{Prep. Camp}

Me. Writing out the bunk allocations.

The bunk allocations

The result after playing with the paper shredder, with Maxine and Adeline

Our camp t-shirts!

The ancient photocopy machine

Look! The television's ancient too!

While the rest of us were busy playing with dodge ball, our dear Ade here was busy taking pictures of herself with the sec 3's phones. These were taken with my phone. Haha!

Our dinner! (Adeline, Maxine and I)

{Day 1-The campers' arrival}

The Food lab 2 and the room between both food labs. What's the purpose of the washing machine placed there?

Making milo in the food lab!

Last minute devil-icious forks that were made for the "Angel&Devil" game at night

My angel-ical partner Adeline and I (:

A group trying to please Ade and I to get more light sticks and gain more points

...

So now Bing Han is trying out to become a ballerina and they earned the light sticks for being thick-skinned. Heh

And then we made a group do a cat-walk on top of the canteen tables to earn the light sticks.

...

Shirley, Carina, Royce and Kavizhnu respectively.

Its Rachel, Qiu Yan and I after the game.

And after the campers are asleep, the secret birthday bash for the November babies (Nydia, Nora, Anyu and Gang Yuan) I tell you, it was so messy! But very fun.

Their faces will be smashed on these ice-creams! (While being blindfolded) Pretty sneaky of us! I know.

Its them before their faces were going to be smashed.

...

After the ice-cream smash!

We made such a huge mess that the whole canteen had to be cleaned up.

And the floor was sparkling clean after that.

{Day2-Amazing race etc.}

We had the Amazing race and Nora's and my station was at Yew Tee. The above are pictures taken while the groups were completing the tasks.

This was their clue to our station

At the later part of the day, while waiting for their turn to play a game.

While they were playing i was also playing around with Sakinah's shades. I liked it loads. Haha!

Ade made Thomas buy chocolates for us and he did.

{Day 3-In the food lab practically for the whole day}

Creepy yellow boots that reminded me of Phua Chu Kang -_-

Made with ice.

The bird flying around the food lab, it almost got hit by the fan. I was the only one that managed to get a picture of that bird! *Muahahaa*

The last few moments of the camp.

And i guess this is it. This camp is over. And i'm still speechless.

I feel like cutting my fringe, i know, yet again. Its getting too long!

...

And and and and and its 4 days away! I'm wayy excited! ;] (By the way its supposed to be a secret. Figure it out for yourselves, i know those that are reading this aren't idiots. Are they?)

*is currently jumping* I can't contain my excitement any further, i shall go and take a nice nap now.

ciao.

busy busy

{Busy, busy}

I knoww. The prefects' camp is like coming up in two days time and so many things are not done yet! Oh gosh, i think we'd probably do it all on friday. Which is the prep camp (aka preparatory) with the Group leaders. I'm so loaded with many things to do. Yet so little time.

There's still going to be band in the afternoon tomorrow. And i'm afraid i won't have enough time to do my stuff. Probably won't be blogging until camp is over.

Really tired now. *sigh*

How could you do this to me?

Pictures

[More pictures!]

Like i said yesterday, i'll post it all. Now, for the "before-we-cleaned-up-the-room" pictures. Just look at how messy it is. Its ghastly!

At the later part of the pictures, you'll see that its in these cupboards we squeezed into.

We got our bags out of the way.

Gang Yuan forced open the metal cupboard and look what we found!

...

(By the way, it hasn't been touched for like, 5 years?)

In the process of cleaning and packing up the room

...

Look at the difference between a clean and dirty cupboard. Like juxtaposition eh?

Anyu trying to squeeze the rubbish in.

And then soon we got bored, guess what we started doing?

Squeezing ourselves into the cupboards :D

The EXCOs 06' in cupboards! (That's something other batches can't do)

Now for the transformation! Ain't the room neat?

And after that we went to pizza hut to eat. A well deserved break! Hehe, all that cleaning up made us so tired.

After all that Suhaila and i went over to Anyu's house. Haha, and we played a few games and all that. Was actually supposed to meet again this morning but in the end it looks like all of us overslept, and now i'm waiting to meet Maxine at 10.45 and we shall go down to Anyu's house together (:

---

All that cleaning up was fun but a little disgusting. At first i was complaining that why should we be the ones to clean that mess up? But it turned out to be really fun. I feel so proud of the EXCOs, hehe. At least we did something and unknowingly Mrs Fong said that we would have CIP hours keyed in too! That's definitely a bonus. I want to do that again!

(I wonder if the next batches of EXCOs would start squeezing themselves into the cupboards.) *laughs* You'll never know.
